PRESS RELEASE FROM MEDEQUIP 

Community equipment services company Medequip has been increasingly concerned about reports of scam phone calls to users of community equipment. The scammers are telling people that they have to provide their bank account details in order to receive the equipment that has been prescribed to them by a health or social care professional.

The latest edition of the Lambeth Safeguarding Adults Board newsletter has been published. Our April Board was our first led by our new independent Chair, Anu Singh, and Making Safeguarding Personal (MSP) was a strong focus of our meeting. 

Our newsletter includes resources to support better understanding of MSP, self-neglect, executive function and effective adult safeguarding supervision.

The Everyone's Invited website drew attention to traumatic experiences of sexual harassment and sexual assault that young people, and specifically young women, have had perpetrated against them. The Lambeth SAB will join alongside other partnerships to support local responses to this.
